Sodium hydroxide is dangerous if mishandled. Proper PPE (goggles, gloves, apron) and following the dilution procedure eliminates risks. Cured soap is completely safe.
Equipment: basic set (scale, mixer, mold, PPE). Ingredients for first batch: minimal cost. For legal selling add CPSR and business license.
Yes, but you must comply with EU regulations. You need CPSR, INCI label, PIF and CPNP notification. Without these documents, selling is illegal. Our guide explains the entire process.
Cold process soap cures for 4–6 weeks. Castile (100% olive oil) ideally needs 6–12 months. In a hurry? Melt & Pour method allows use in 24 hours.
